獅山多功能運動公園
今天計劃前往竹南的獅山公園，出門時妮爸做了一件蠢事，因為妮妮還在睡覺，妮爸就把妮妮抱上車，想說讓她在車上睡，結果竟然忘記幫妮妮帶鞋子，等發現的時候車子已經過了三峽。因為不想再折返奔波，所以喬媽決定到竹南後再幫妮妮買鞋。
到竹南後第一站是到竹南第二公有零售市場幫妮妮找鞋子，妮妮還沒睡飽。很幸運有一家鞋店八點就開門了，妮妮很開心幫自己挑了一雙粉紅色的涼鞋。
市場就在竹南車站附近。因為天氣實在太熱了，所以買完鞋後就在火車站附近吃冰。這裡的綿綿冰份量剛剛好，價格也不貴。
妮爸喬媽在車上就先用過早餐了，我們吃冰的時候妮妮吃她的早餐。
星光橋與星座公園
每次開車在國道一號汐止附近總會看到一座斜張橋，這座橋叫做星光橋，今天喬妮姐弟要帶大家來星光橋和附近的星座公園走走。
星光橋是單斜塔斜張橋，橋長達270公尺，河面不落墩，直接跨越基隆河兩岸，維持河道完整的通洪能力。
星光橋橫跨基隆河兩岸，鄰近五堵車站和國泰醫院汐止分院。兩岸都有自行車道。從星光橋上欣賞基隆河兩岸的風景，視野非常好。
北岸有一座長安抽水站，裡面有乾淨的廁所，這個地方同時也是自行車補給站。
喬妮出遊：林默娘公園
喬媽出月子後的第一個週末，決定帶喬妮姐弟到林默娘公園走走。路上順便跟孩子們說說媽祖的故事。

「尾牙」的由來
每當到了年底，許多公司行號都會舉辦尾牙。老闆們會宴請員工，慰勞一年來的辛勞。除了享用美食，這天通常也會抽獎，運氣好的話可以拿到紅包甚至特別的獎品回家。
但是「尾牙」這名子是怎麼來的呢？
「牙祭」本來是古代戰爭前祭旗的儀式，因為軍旗多以象牙裝飾，又稱「牙旗」。由於商場如戰場，地方商人又多有拜土地公的習俗，「牙祭」逐漸演變成每月的初二和十六祭拜土地公的日子。每年二月初二是「頭牙」，而十二月十六就是「尾牙」了。
過去一般人生活較為清貧，平常多無肉可吃，但牙祭之後，商家便會將祭祀後的三牲與員工分享，俗稱「打牙祭」。
“Final Tooth Ceremony “
In Taiwan, most of the company will hold a large and formal banquet for their staff by the end of the year. Very often, they will also hire a stage performance to entertain their people. The boss will also give red envelope or the lottery prize as rewards for their hardworking. This banquet got a strange name”Final Tooth Ceremony”.
Where does this name come from?
Long time ago, before military goes to war, they pray to god with their flag, wish they can defeat their enemy on the battlefield. The ancient flag was often decorated with ivory, which is elephant tooth. So they call it “Tooth Ceremony “.
Business competition is like a battlefield for business man. And most of the business man also regularly worship to God of earth, who is believed to offer good luck and protection to people in the folk religion. The two traditions gradually become one. Twice a month, on the second day and sixteenth day of every month based on Chinese Calendar, such ceremony will be hold. 16th of December is the last one throughout the year, so it become special.

媽祖
很久很久以前，在湄洲島小漁村有一戶姓林的人家，生下一個小女孩。小女孩出生時沒有哭，所以父母就幫她取名叫「默」，因為是女孩子，所以大家就稱呼她「默娘」。
默娘心地十分善良，有一次下大雨，門前水溝積水，許多螞蟻被困在水面上，默娘便拿一塊木片架在溝邊和水中，幫助螞蟻順利逃出。
又有一次，一位又臭又髒的老乞丐來到默娘家中，說是腿上受傷化膿，請求幫助。正當家人想趕走他，默娘看見了，便請他進屋，拿清水幫他清洗傷口，又在化膿的地方上藥。原來這乞丐是一位有道行的神仙假裝的，神仙聽說默娘心地善良又有慧根，所以來試探她。得到默娘的幫助後便決定將仙法傳授給默娘，從此默娘便有預知禍福，降妖除魔的本事。
在湄洲島附近有座桃花山，山裏住著兩隻妖怪，非常兇惡，凡人都不敢靠近。得到仙法的默娘決定為百姓除害。她到桃花山與這兩隻妖怪約戰，打敗他們後便勸他們改過向善，被降伏的妖怪便答應未來默娘成仙後，跟著默娘照顧百姓，他們各有神通，一位有天眼通，是為千里眼，一位有天耳通，是為順風耳。
Joey Come Home
Joey was an angel, he had a pair of beautiful wings, every day he just flys on the cloud.
One day, he saw a cute girl playing slide in the playground. That girl was Zoe. He thinks” How nice if I could be her brother. We can play together.
So Joey came to Mommy, and Mommy became pregnant.
It’s hard to be pregnant, mommy often feels uncomfortable. Mommy’s belly grows bigger and bigger, even walking seems to be difficult for Mommy.
喬喬回家
小寶貝喬喬原本是天上的小天使，生著一對美麗的翅膀，每天自由自在地在天空中翱翔。
有一天他看到一個很可愛的小女孩在公園溜滑梯，這個小女孩就是妮妮。他心裡想，我想跟妮妮姐姐一起玩，一起當好朋友。
然後小天使喬喬就跑到媽咪的肚子裡面了。
媽咪懷孕很辛苦，常常都會不舒服，肚子越來越大，走路都會很累。
Cave People
Long time ago, a little island was completely submerged in the sea. It starts to emerge after some earthquakes. The island is rising very very slowly. In this long process, the waves are digging caves in the mountain as it’s getting taller. Many caves are formed.
One day, a group of people discovered the caves and decide to live here. We call them cave people, and the caves provide them a nice shelter.
Living in the cave is as busy as it can be. Everyday, they grind stones to make tools. They use the stone tool to hunt and collecting food from the sea and from the forest. They make fire in the cave. The fire not only cook their food but also provide them light in the dark. And they must keep the fire lit all the time.
As comfortable as their life can be, the cave people still have a strong heart of adventure. So when the right time come, they leave to search their next home.
洞穴與原始人
很久很久以前，有一個沉在海裡的小島，後來因為地牛翻身，小島就慢慢地浮出水面。在小島漸漸長高的漫長歲月，海水不斷地拍打海邊的一座小山，也在山上挖出了幾個山洞。
後來有一群原始人來到島上，發現山洞可以遮風避雨，便在山洞中住了下來。
原始人的山洞生活多采多姿，他們會敲打石頭來製作工具，並用這些工具捕魚打獵。他們會在山洞中生火。火除了可以用來烹煮食物，也可以在黑夜中帶給他們光明。
洞穴的生活雖然自給自足，但卻改變不了原始人冒險的心。在住了一陣子之後，原始人便決定離開洞穴，去尋找他們心目中更理想的家園。
Origin of Tea
Tea used to be God’s drink. One day God decide to give tea to common people. So tea tree was sent to human world.
However people didn’t know tea, so tea trees only grow in the wild.
Until Shennon, a great tribe leader, appears. Shennon which means “God of farming” often collect different herbs from wild, and tried to identify the medical effect of them. During his endeavor, he often got poisoned for consuming wrong herb. One day, he was badly poisoned again, and feeling dizzy and thirsty. When he pass by a tea tree. The tea tree took the chance to impress Shennon. It drop some tea into Shennon’s mouth. After a while, Shennon start feeling better. The thirst is relieved, the dizziness is fading away. He then examined tea tree carefully, and decide to take it back. He then discover the good property that tea possess. He then introduced tea to his people. After some time, tea become a common drink for almost every family.
